Croc Drop Logo Trademarked

6th November 2020

Croc Drop Logo Trademarked. Following a little digging on the UK Trademark Office. Chessington Buzz can officially reveal the planned logo for Croc Drop, code-named Project Plummet. The new ride, scheduled to open in 2021, replaces Rameses Revenge as part of Chessington World of Adventures‘ Forbidden Kingdom area.

The logo, shown below, uses a bold crocodile-skin colour palette and showcases a striking central eye. Moreover, its overall shape closely resembles Oblivion and Oblivion: The Black Hole. Former Chessington creative designer Andy Porter is believed to have created the logo.

Although Chessington has not officially revealed the new ride’s name, we believe the choice is almost confirmed. Moreover, the eye emblem carved into the themed entrance archway matches the symbol shown in the logo. Alongside the trademark filing, Chessington Buzz feels confident in using this name going forward. Now that the Croc Drop logo has been trademarked, the identity appears firmly established.

With the UK now in a second lockdown, updates on the construction of the attraction are temporarily on hold but will return following the reopening of the Resort in December.
